San Francisco Measure J
Shall is be official policy of the City of San Francisco to call for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney? According to the voting public in San Francisco, it should be. Measure J, perhaps one of the silliest items on the ballot in this midterm election, passed in San Francisco yesterday.

First, let me be clear that I was in the 40.6% of the population that was actually smart enough to have voted "NO" on this measure. As far as I'm concerned, it is simply a waste of the voter's time to vote on something like this. Tell me truthfully that this is a good policy for a city to support. Regardless of whether or not you support President Bush and Vice President Cheney, to legally obligate a City of the State of California to, as a matter of policy, call for the impeachment of our nation's leaders is simply outreageous. I simply can't support politics like this. There are so many more important issues that San Francisco needs to worry about - they don't need to be wasting time calling, as a city, for the impeachment of Bush.
I'm becoming overly frustrated with the politics of California. This has to be one of the most screwed up states when it comes to politics. I think I need to move back to a red state!
