The GRE
Friends & Family, welcome to May at LancesWorld.com.
There have been some complaints that I haven't updated the journal (or God's Promise) recently enough, and for that I aplogize. I certainly don't intend to leave my dedicated audience hanging out to dry. Hopefully this will be the first of many new posts to be made during the month of May, though I would be irresponsible to promise that.
Some late-breaking news for all of you. I have registered to take the GRE. First, let me just say that I hope the test doesn't ask what "GRE" stands for, because if it did, I would certainly get that wrong. Let's see... what could it mean?
- Geographic Response Element
- Generally Redundent Experience
- Gigantic Resource Expender
- Glass Reinforced Epoxy
- Graduate Record Examination
I suppose it could be any or all of the above. Regardless, I am registered to take it in one month's time, on June 3. As for test prep - I don't know that I really plan to do any. I mean, I didn't study for the SAT, right? Maybe I'll look over some vocab words, or maybe not. Who knows.
So, the question that you must all be asking is, "Why does Lance want to take the GRE?"
Good question.
You might also be asking, "Wouldn't the GMAT be a more practical exam to take?"
Also an excellent question. I applaud all of you for asking these questions.

Lance, God promised me you'd update your God's promise blog. Doesn't that just blow your mind? Think about it.
